Can’t we Just All Get Along?

When conflict is unresolved, people are likely to become disengaged – motivation and productivity plummet. At worst, high levels of toxic conflict contribute to poor mental health and personal problems that have a lasting impact beyond the organization’s walls. The impact of conflict on people is severe – and those are just the human costs. The financial costs are real as well, and are seen in increased absenteeism, loss of productivity, and increased employee turnover.

Conflict has many sources including miscommunication, disagreements, stress, and personality differences. Many conflicts would not spiral out of control if people used conflict resolution strategies that are easy to learn and utilize. Those who are able to master essential conflict resolution skills reduce the occurrence of negative conflict, leading to healthier, happier relationships and work environments.

This presentation will help you understand the dynamics of conflict, and review strategies needed to respond to conflict confidently and effectively.
